Reason #143 why I love homeschooling my children? We can take off on an all-day field trip to the zoo in the middle of the week! That's exactly what we did last week. And what great educational fun we had!
WOW, what fantastic photos - it looks like you were RIGHT in front of some of the animals!
Looks like you all had a fun time - I've been thinking lately about how we need to take our kiddos to a zoo. (this is the 2nd zoo field trip post I've visited today....perhaps I should be taking the hint?! haha!)
Visiting you today from the HHH - have a blessed day!
Yes, just one of the great things about homeschooling! I miss my children being younger and wish my daughter would allow me to homeschool her children. I have my 15 yr old left at home.
I'm a Christian stay at home mom to my three boys & a baby girl, trying to balance family life, homeschooling, and all the little things that go along with caring for my family and my home, while serving the Lord.
*I'm Shanna... welcome to my blog! I'm glad that you're here. One reason for this blog is to provide a way to hold myself accountable to being intentional in the time I have with my children.
*It is also my attempt at keeping track of all my favorite websites, tips, and ideas that I come across as I try to manage my home and balance everything on a daily basis.
*I'll post some of the great deals that I find along the way, different things that we're doing, things we've enjoyed, and whatever else is on my mind.
I don't want to be a tightwad or a spendthrift. I want to be smart. I want to celebrate life, to surround myself with beauty, and to be content in whatever state I am in. I want to manage my finances, to organize my routine, and to use my possessions wisely. I want to budget resources and time, to help others, and to bring glory to God. --- by Cynthia Yates

Stephanie- thank you! I did zoom in of course, but so many of the animals were right out in the open for us... except for the sleepy tigers. lol
Vicky- yes, it was a fun trip. Hopefully, we won't wait so long before going again. Thanks for following!
Marsha- yes, they grow so fast. I'm trying to enjoy each stage with them. Hopefully, someday your daughter will change her mind. Blessings!
Shanna
